The opener is basically last night in a nutshell. Gina was wonderful in inviting me to go to Le Bal des Vampires last night along with Sihaya. There we met the awesome Shaf and her vampire slave Sasu XD. Spent some time in the ladies room seeing Shaf and Sasu work on Sihaya's outfit (which was really, really pretty!) along with many other damsel who was getting ready for the ball.

It was really fun and wonderful seeing so many people wearing period costumes, awesome vampires costumes (like the couple that showed up as Nosferatu and the Bride of Nosferatu). The dancing was amazing, my joke was being an English major did not prepare me to dance all the waltzes, minuets, polkas and partner dancing. It was great seeing it though so maybe next time I will be brave enough to dance. I will just make sure that what I am wearing does not make me trip, the skirt I was wearing last night kept dragging...need go fix it I guess.

Oh and I met My Prince...and it was a lady! (just the way Gina put it!) She was so adorable and perfect as a prince. She had red-hair, fair skin and just really, really nice. We sat together for a bit and chatted about silly things. She later danced with an older gentleman and I was totally jealous. Sihaya and Gina were all XD at me when I was fangirling My Prince. She was just PERFECT DAMN IT XD. Oh and we had some drinks. They were mostly alcohol with whatever flavor you asked for. I mean, I had ONE rum and coke (that was more like rum and coke flavoring) and I woke up with a headache...light weight! Still, I know Sasu didn't finish her own coke and rum because it was so strong.

I was planning to take pictures but then I totally did not. Shaf, on the other hand, ran around taking pics and I can't wait to see them. I had a lot of fun and I want to thank ALL OF YOU for making the evening special!

Now I want to go to the Peer's events all the time. I am looking forward to going to the Dickens Fair as well as the Edwardian Ball. We will see how it goes financially.

Wrote a letter just now... not gonna say who it's going to, don't want any jealousy and what not. I'm gonna try to get two more out of myself before 2pm tomorrow and the mailman comes by. Took down a majority of all the Halloween window clings, feel pretty good about my progress thus far. Still have to clean up my room and take the ones down in the bathroom. Ehhhh... lazy, feel almost like I'm getting sick.

Tonight I think I'm gonna finish up Staci's journal coding on dj. Oh, you didn't know? Hahaha I'm in between a bunch of my old journals again... can't tell which I like more... love the people here, like the solitude there... love the free range creativity too. Man, the worst news stories today.

Some lady reported her baby missing and for five days they searched only to find she had given the baby to the babysitter in secret and it was in a box under a bed. Just...whut. The baby is okay though.

There was an internal shooting at the military base in Texas and 12 people died and 31 were injured. Scary stuff, and best of wishes to the families. D:

Then some past rapist was discovered to have 10 decomposing bodies in his house of people he'd killed/raped ever since he was let out of jail in 2005. Stories like that make me so paranoid. How well do you know your neighbor, aaaaaaah. *shudder*
